This is a logo design proposal for a science center project in Istanbul. Expectation was a timeless and eye-catching logo. Science center will take place in a historical shipyard and logo should connect with the history of the site while emphasizing the importance of the science.

The idea was using symbols related to ships, marine and science to form a unique logo. Plenty of symbols and items analyzed such as anchors, water drops. These symbols and objects simplified and form created out of this process. The final form was complimenting to bunch of marine and science figures. It was also a "T" shape which was the connection with "Tersane" name of the science center. Form looks progressive, timeless and rapid which is pretty much what science is. 

The blue color fits with the sea connection of the science center. Moreover, it also represents the sky which has a strong bond with science and space since the beginning of the humankind.
